Francy graduated from New York University (NYU) with honors in just three years with a dual degree in cinema studies and journalism. She started her career at WNBC in New York and NY1 News. After spending several years in the Big Apple, Francy was given an offer she shouldn’t refuse and moved back to Boston to produce the morning show for the CBS affiliate in her hometown. From there she went on to become the Press Secretary for the State Treasurer of Massachusetts, where she oversaw all of the communications for several state agencies include the Lottery, School Building Authority and the $53 Billion State Pension Fund. From the state, Francy decided to put her skills to work in helping mission focused organizations better manage their public relations efforts at Solomon McCown & Co, a communications firm in Boston. During that time she also served as the spokeswoman for a successful ballot initiative to protect affordable housing opportunities for working families in Massachusetts. Francy then went on to join InkHouse, a public relations and social media firm, where she focused on creating new media strategies for tech focused companies. After expanding her family in early 2013, Francy became a communications consultant for Wyngspan and New Profit Inc. In addition to being nominated for an Emmy during her early career in New York, in 2010, Francy was named a Rising Star in Business by the Boston Business Journal.
